Homemade Pizza 🍕 Plus Sauce 🍅 Healthy, Easy & Kids Approved
If you know me well, you know how I love everything homemade! Not extravaganza homemade though! Easy, straight to the point and healthy. I always look for easy and nutritious recipes, then tweak them to fit my kitchen and my needs. So here’s 2 recipes. Not just one, TWO! 1) A healthy Pizza dough and 2) A healthy tomato sauce that could be used for both pizzas and Pastas! The cooked tomato sauce can be frozen, and will last for about 3 months, that’s why I like to make big batches. So If you have place in your freezer, double or even more the recipe and freeze the rest for later use.

*You can use milk or any type of yogurt replacing the greek yogurt (yogurt will make it extra fluffy)
**If your kids won’t approve whole wheat flour, divide the quantity between whole wheat and unbleached all purpose flour
***You can find aluminum free baking soda on mint basil
Grated Mozzarella of course. I use the fresh one but go ahead an use whatever you want, and then you can add ANY topping you want: Vegetables, Olives, Dried tomatoes, Mushrooms, Aubergine…
*You can put the onion in the mixer instead of chopping it. Same for the garlic.
**After the sauce is cooked, you can put it again in the mixer and puree it more to hide all the veggies inside.
If you have some place in the freezer, double the recipe and freeze the rest for later use with pastas or pizzas.
