🧘🏻♀️ My 2018 Resolutions 🔛
I didn't believe in resolutions until last year when my brother asked each one of us in the family to write theirs on a piece of paper and read them on new years. Such a good thing to do because it makes you acknowledge and realize what bothers you the most and what exactly you want to change about yourself. So yes, I did stick by them in 2017 and worked on myself and I'm so proud of the progress I have done since last year! So grab your notebook and start writing your resolutions, you will be amazed by how naughty you are!! Here are my resolutions to get you inspired.
Spend less time on my phone 📱 I do spend a lot of time on my phone! And no I am not searching for schools or healthy meals just scrolling through my social media accounts and being unproductive! It pisses my husband off and believe it or not, my son too: "Mami, no phone". So I started minimizing the time I spend on my phone! How? I only go through my social media accounts at night after putting BabyT to sleep and try my best not to during the day especially when my husband or my kid is around.
- Focus on Myself 💆🏻♀️ I have a busy schedule! I barely give time to myself and barely do anything for ME, and yes I'm talking about the superficial things. Motherhood (and wifehood) take a lot of my time, but this year I want to focus more on my wellbeing and things I love to do: Take good care of my skin and hair, Never skip my training, Go back to healthy eating, read more (yes I love reading), attend some classes like self make up, etiquette...) It might look superficial and stupid for you but the above are actually things that will fulfill you as long as you love doing them.
Focus on My Career 👩🏻💻 I Have alot on my mind and so many ideas that are written down on my notebook but nothing achieved or done. I honestly don't know how im gonna do that with a baby on the way, I remember trying this when babyT turned 6months and I failed. I will try my best to do it this time! And I will NOT FAIL!
Become a Non Judgemental person 🤭 Please take a moment to read this. Unfortunately, I live in one of the most judgemental societies ever! The biggest problem is that we are so diversified, it makes it easier to judge and act stupid. And yes sometimes I get carried away! Last year, becoming a non judgemental person was also one of my resolutions and yes I did work on it, yes it worked! Expect this every year because we need to remind ourselves every year that each one of us comes from a diffferent backgroun, different culture maybe and we all have a story to tell.
So those were my resolutions for this year (posted a bit late, sorry), what are yours?
